Here is a quick follow up from intergroup on Tuesday, 3/25/2008.

  a.. intergroup is looking for a treasurer. 
  b.. Our grapevine rep needs to contact 303.518.5044 to check in. Is it pat?.....maybe we could put a current list of the people/positions on the message board? Don or chris, would you follow up on this? 
  c.. the nightwatch coordinator– Jonathan? - needs to contact helen at 303.995.9485. Don or chris, would you follow up on this? 
  d.. when we have one, our new pi rep should contact riley at 720.388.4200. 
  e.. they have had problems with coverage of shifts at central office, but our group was not a problem. (What shift to we cover? Who does it? Phil?) 
  f.. there will be an article in the message about the rational for moving central office. (I can’t wait to read that one.) 
  g.. there is a hot debate about what should be included in the message calendar. Apparently rick’s rafting trip has stirred up some issues, so now the group conscience is coming up with guidelines. I think if it was under the aegis of eye openers it might be able to be included. Or, possibly rick could form a group around the one campfire meeting. I think they would be forced to include the announcement if he did this (!) it would probably irritate the heck out of them though. Anywho, There will be discussion at the next meeting, but until then, the raft trip will not be mentioned on the web site or in the message. Ho hum. This is a very heated issue. I will probably do some research on it at spring assembly.

The intergroup would like the following announcements to be included regularly. In the interest of brevity, I posted the details on the EO bulletin board. So, we could preface these by saying “See the EO bulletin board for details” and leave out info in parens below.

  a.. seeking articles for the message, boulder county’s aa newsletter. Pick up a copy in central office for details on submitting. 
  b.. corrections volunteers – especially women – are needed. (Contact sarah at 646.372.5809) 
  c.. ad hoc committee on moving the central office from boulder one meets the first Sunday of the month at 1 pm in central office. Those opposing a move are particularly invited to attend. 
  d.. the next longtimers brunch – featuring bill s. and clare e. is Sunday, April 13 (11:30 a.m. In the jean wilson conference room at the boulder community hospital. Enter on alpine right across from the parking structure.) 
  e.. there will be a ‘day in aa’ sponsored by the district, with meetings from 8 am to 9 pm on April 26. (first baptist church – jive church)
