For Eyeopeners 2/9/2008 Group Conscience discussion...

Our district Inter-Group has decided they will not be able
to support our Eyeopeners web site hosting request.

I am going to proceed to gather information to present to you all
on how we can manage it on our own.

1) get a domain name:
www.eyeopeners.com and www.eyeopeners.org are already taken.

Possible domain names that are available include:
 b1eyeopeners.com 
 eyeopenershome.com
 eyeopenerssite.com
 eyeopenerslive.com
 theeyeopeners.com

2) Register for web site hosting:
We can rent the domain name and the shared host server space
separately, and maybe save a bit on costs, but that means two
different accounts to manage.

I recommend we use a well established service provider that
does both like www.godaddy.com. That way we only have to deal
with a single billing account.

3) Define payment arrangements:
A credit card, paypal, or checking account can be used.

The godaddy economy plan is sufficient for our needs:
